Oregon hosts the #12 UCLA Bruins after Will Richardson scored 22 points in Oregon’s 84-81 loss to the Arizona Wildcats. The Ducks have gone 11-4 in home games and the Bruins are 12-4 in Pac-12 play. UCLA averages 73.7 points and has outscored opponents by 11.8 points per game. The teams meet for the 2nd time in conference play this season after the Ducks won 84-81 at UCLA in the first matchup on Jan. 14. Jacob Young led the Ducks with 23 points, and Johnny Juzang led the Bruins with 23 points. The Bruins have been playing some of their best basketball of the season in recent games and this will be a bad matchup for Oregon and their defensive struggles.  The Ducks will need a repeat performance from the 1st meeting where they shot 43% from the field and went 18 for 26 from the free-throw line while UCLA only shot 40% from the field and 28% from three. UCLA has the better offense and defense in this matchup and despite the Ducks needing this win more than UCLA, the better team should prevail. This line may keep moving as KenPom had the Bruins as 6-point favorites. Look for UCLA to cover the spread in this one.
