The Padres are one of the hottest teams in baseball winning 13 of the last 15 games. Paddack didn’t have the best start early this season but has pitched well in his last 3 games with a 1.38 ERA. The Brewers had Houser scheduled to start this game but replaced him with Eric Lauer this morning who pitched for San Diego in 2018 and 2019 so the staff is familiar with his stuff. San Diego is hitting lefties at a .310 batting average over the last 10 games as well. Milwaukee has had offensive struggles(ranked 28th) while the Padres(ranked #1) have been a scoring machine.  This line looks low because the Brewers have had a lot of success against the Padres in recent games. but there is good value with the Padres only juiced at only -120. There is a good chance Machado will still be out for this game so when the lineups are announced there is also a good chance a better line will be available.
