9:00 p.m. ET: Providence Friars (2-0) at Wisconsin Badgers (2-0)
Spread: Badgers -5
Total: 131
This Badger team is going to have to rebuild after losing most of the experience and production from last year’s team. Providence lost some players as well but they have brought in some talent. Providence added good players in Al Durham(Indiana) and Justin Minaya(S. Carolina) via the transfer portal, so it has improved far more in the offseason than the Badgers. The public is pounding the Badgers because they rarely lose at home however this year’s team is probably the worst in the last 10 years. This line opened at +7.5 for the Friars but we see it moving down to +5 at many books indicating the sharps are getting on the points early. Considering both of these teams are not offensive powerhouses, it should be a slow, low-scoring game that will also keep Providence in the game. Take Providence and the Under in this one.
The Bookie: Providence +5 / Under 131
Fade the Public: Providence / Under
