8:15 p.m. ET: New Orleans Saints (3-2) at Seattle Seahawks (2-4)
Spread: Saints -4
Over/Under: 41.5
The Saints (3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS) are coming off a bye week after winning 2 of the last 3 games, most recently winning at Washington 33-22. The Seahawks (2-4 SU, 3-3 ATS) have lost 2 straight games and fell to the Steelers 23-20. This line opened with New Orleans listed as a 3.5-point road favorite and the public jumping on that number because Wilson is out for the Seahawks. This public betting pushed the Saints all the way up to -5.5 and then we saw a large buyback on Seattle plus the points, bringing this line back down to 4. Along with Wilson being out, the Seahawks are also going to be without running back Alex Collins (groin), who rushed for 101 yards against the Steelers in place of Carson, has missed practice this week, as has guard Damien Lewis (shoulder). Defensive end Darrell Taylor (neck), who was carted off late in the game in Pittsburgh and taken to a hospital, has been limited in practice. Favorites off a bye are 58% ATS in the last 10 years and road favorites off a bye improve to 66% ATS. When the total is a low 45 or less, the under is 19-11 (63%) this season. The Seahawks should struggle on the offensive and the Saints will be ready to roll after the bye week, getting back several key players from injury. Take the Saints and the Under in this one.
