12:00 p.m. ET: Kentucky Wildcats (24-6) at Florida Gators (19-11)
Spread: Kentucky -4.5
Total: 142
The #7 Kentucky Wildcats will try to earn its 25th win of the season against the Florida Gators. The Gators are 12-4 in home games. The Wildcats are 13-4 in SEC play. Kentucky leads the SEC scoring 80.4 points per game while shooting 48.8%. These teams play for the 2nd time this season in SEC play after Kentucky won the first meeting 78-57. Oscar Tshiebwe scored 27 points to lead the Wildcats in the win. Colin Castleton is averaging 16.1 points, nine rebounds, and 2.5 blocks for the Gators. This line doesn’t make a lot of sense after the 20+ point blowout at Kentucky. Kentucky has struggled lately with injuries and the Gators have been playing better all around. Castleton should be able to keep Tshiebwe from dominating the post. If the Gators can shoot well from beyond the arc they might have a chance in this game. The problem with the Gators is their inconsistent offense. Kentucky doesn’t play the best defense but their offense is nearly unstoppable. Gators will be bringing everything they have to this game and should be able to stay within the number.
2:00 p.m. ET: Indiana Hoosiers (18-11) at Purdue Boilermakers (24-6)
Spread: Purdue -10
Total: 141
The #8 Purdue Boilermakers hosts the Indiana Hoosiers after Jaden Ivey scored 22 points in Purdue’s 70-67 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers. The Boilermakers have gone 15-1 in home games this season. The Hoosiers are 9-10 in conference matchups. These teams meet for the 2nd time in conference play this season after Indiana won the first matchup 68-65 on Jan. 21. Rob Phinisee led Indiana with 20 points, and Ivey led Purdue with 21 points. Purdue coming off a tough loss and playing back at home is not a combination any opponent wants to face. The Hoosiers have been playing terribly lately losing 6 of the last 8 games. Purdue will win the rebounding battle and both Ivey and Stefanovic will take advantage of Indiana’s weak perimeter defense. Purdue also has payback on their mind from the terrible game they played at Indiana earlier this season. Purdue shouldn’t have a problem covering this double-digit number. The Home team is 6-2-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
4:00 p.m. ET: Texas Longhorns (21-9) at Kansas Jayhawks (24-6)
Spread: Kansas -6.5
Total: 138
The #6 Kansas Jayhawks will try to get their 25th win this season when they host the #21 Texas Longhorns. The Jayhawks have gone 15-1 at home. The Longhorns are 10-7 against Big 12 opponents. These teams meet for the 2nd time in conference play this season after Texas won 79-76 in the first matchup on Feb. 8. Allen led Texas with 24 points, and Jalen Wilson led Kansas with 18 points in that game. Ochai Agbaji is shooting 48.7% and averaging 20.2 points for the Jayhawks. Marcus Carr is averaging 11.2 points and 3.2 assists for the Longhorns. Kansas has not played well in their last 3 games. Their offense has been slumping some and they are not playing well defensively. Texas has beaten Kansas three straight times as well. Texas’ defense has been sharp all year and if they can win the rebounding battle like the last time out, they can keep this close. The Underdog is 3-0-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings and the road team is 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings.
6:00 p.m. ET: North Carolina Tar Heels (22-8) at Duke Blue Devils (26-4)
Spread: Duke -11.5
Total: 153.5
The #4 Duke Blue Devils host the North Carolina Tar Heels after Trevor Keels scored 27 points in Duke’s 86-56 win against the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Blue Devils are 15-2 in home games and the Tar Heels are 14-5 in conference games. These teams face off for the 2nd time in conference play this season after Duke won the first meeting 87-67. In the last 10 games, the Blue Devils have gone 9-1, averaging 83.2 points, 30.2 rebounds, 17.2 assists, 3.5 steals, and 5.4 blocks per game while shooting 53.6% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 63.7 points per game. The Tar Heels have been playing well and have gone 8-2. While averaging 81.4 points, 37.6 rebounds, 15.9 assists, 5.4 steals, and 3.6 blocks per game while shooting 46% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 72.7 points. Krzyzewski is 50-46 straight up in his career vs. North Carolina. He’s 22-18 straight at home and 18-23 on the road. The against-the-spread numbers haven’t been as good, with UNC leading 21-16-2 ATS since 2005. The Tar Heels have been playing well as of late and will be ready for this big game. Duke will either win this game by 20+ or the Tar Heels will win outright. With all the emotions of this game, the Tar Heels should be able to keep this game close.
10:00 p.m. ET: USC Trojans (25-5) at UCLA Bruins (22-6)
Spread: UCLA -7.5
Total: 137
The #7 UCLA Bruins take on the #16 USC Trojans after Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 30 points in UCLA’s 77-66 victory over the Washington Huskies. The Bruins have gone 13-1 in home games and the Trojans have gone 14-5 against Pac-12 opponents. These teams square off for the 2nd time this season in Pac-12 play after USC won the first matchup 67-64 on Feb. 13. Drew Peterson scored 27 points to lead the Trojans to the victory. This is another line that doesn’t make sense after USC beat UCLA in the first meeting without production from Mobley. UCLA has not been playing very well lately although they have been winning games. USC has been playing well with the exception of the blowout by Arizona a few days ago. The public is jumping all over USC in this game because it seems like the obvious pick but UCLA is far more talented and plays much better at home. The Bruins should have their full roster back for this game and will be looking for revenge. The Home team is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings.
