Prediction: Gonzaga is the number 1 team for a reason as the starting lineup is loaded with talent especially the guards. Timme is a good big man but he is going to struggle against the length and size of USC and the Mobley bros. USC is a top defensive team especially in the tournament holding Drake to 56, Kansas to 51, and Oregon to 68. If USC can dominate the paint and the boards they have a legitimate chance at winning this game. The key for USC is going to be the guards and their outside shooting which in the last game dominated and were keys to the big win. The Trojans should be able to keep this game within reach with defense and keep this game going Under the total.

Prediction:  UCLA is without a doubt the hottest team in the tournament right now coming from the play-in game all the way to the Elite 8. Typically teams that are playing this good make it to the final 4 though that will be a challenge against Michigan.  The guards on both teams match up well but the difference is going to be down low where Michigan has more size. The key for UCLA will be to get Hunter Dickenson in foul trouble and you can count on Mick Cronin to set up his offense to attack the paint.  UCLA might not be able to win this game but they should be able to keep this one close so it’s best to stick with the hot hand and take the points with the Bruins in this game.
