The Seminoles (1-0) have defeated the Gators (1-0) seven consecutive times, including last season’s 83-71 victory in Tallahassee. FSU’s signature defense was in full swing as it forced 26 turnovers which led to 37 points. There has been sharp money coming in on the Seminoles, pushing this line from +2.5 to +1 since it opened. Last season, the Seminoles were 4th in the nation in defensive turnover rate and the Gators turned the ball over at the 57th highest rate (21.2%). FSU will have a major size advantage at every position except for the center. The Seminoles generated 15 steals in their season opener and face a Florida bunch that has returned just one listed guard that averaged more than 1.5 points per game last season. The Seminoles had 24 offensive rebounds in their opener against Penn, with a lineup in which 10 different players got 10 or more minutes. FSU has won and covered in five straight meetings against the Gators and should be able to do it again in this one.
