The Blue Demons are off an impressive start but you really have to look at their schedule to get a better idea. DePaul’s toughest contest was against Loyola in a loss and Rutgers in a close game that they won. The rest of the wins come against teams outside the top 125. Louisville on the other hand has had a tough schedule with games against NC State, Michigan State, Maryland, and Mississippi State. The Cardinals’ biggest challenge this season has been inconsistent offense but they make up for it on the defensive end. Given the Cardinals’ inconsistent play and DePaul’s record, the public is jumping on DePaul and the points. Take the better team and take Cardinals to get the cover in this one. You may get a better line if you wait for more public money to come in as well.
