The Cowboys should improve this season if Prescott stays healthy. The Cowboys’ Martin is out, which means McGovern will start in his spot. Prescott didn’t take a snap in the preseason and he will be tested when it comes to taking a hit. The Buccaneers had the best rush defense in the league last season, and with everyone back on that end, expect limited yards on the ground, which will force the Cowboys to throw against a defense that finished 4th in sacks last season. Dallas had the second-worst run defense in the league last season. Prescott also has been dealing with a strained throwing shoulder, an injury that occurred in practice on July 28. He was a full practice participant on Monday and is expected to play. Take the Buccaneers to cover the spread in this NFL opener.
