The #12 Maryland Terrapins (12-2) will host the #11 Ohio State Buckeyes for a Big 10 conference matchup. In their last games out, Ohio State lost to Wisconsin on their home court after losing to West Virginia a few days prior. Maryland had an easy win over Indiana by a score of 75-59 on their home court. A few weeks ago, both teams were in the top-five, but a couple of surprising losses for both teams dropped them down in the polls. Last season these teams met twice with Maryland winning both games by scores of 61-65 on the road and 72-62 on their home court.

The Terrapins are led by Anthony Cowan Jr was 16.4 points 4.3 assists 1.4 steals per game along with Jaylon Smith who is adding 13.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. Wiggins is adding 11 points, Ayala at nine points and Morsell is adding eight points Off the bench.

The Buckeyes are coming into this contest losing three out of their last five games. The Buckeyes appear to be struggling offensively as a team and they’re not gelling as they were at the start of the year. Maryland seems to come out lackluster against weak teams however they should show up to play This Big Ten and ranked vs ranked matchup will be an important game on Maryland’s resume come tournament time. If Kyle young doesn’t play Maryland will have a major advantage on the glass but even if he does play Maryland should be able to produce more offense and defense to hold than this struggling Ohio State team.
