The #13 UCLA Bruins hosts the Arizona State Sun Devils after Jaylen Clark scored 25 points in UCLA’s 76-50 win against the Washington Huskies over the weekend. The Bruins have gone 12-1 at home. The Sun Devils have gone 6-9 against Pac-12 opponents. These teams play for the 2nd time in conference play this season after the Sun Devils won the first matchup 87-84 on Feb. 6. Marreon Jackson scored 24 points to help lead the Sun Devils to the victory. Tyger Campbell is averaging 11.7 points and 4.4 assists for the Bruins. Kimani Lawrence is averaging 10.7 points and 6.8 rebounds for the Sun Devils. UCLA’s leading scorers Johnny Juzang and Cody Riley did not play against the Huskies. Juzang sustained a sore hip falling off a scooter and Riley sat to get rest with the Bruins in the midst of playing six games in 12 days. Jaime Jaquez Jr. was also limited to 17 minutes by Cronin to give him rest. The Bruins were getting ready for this ASU matchup after the triple OT loss there is a major revenge factor for this game. ASU has been putting up points in recent games but they struggle offensively, especially on the road averaging only 61 points per game while UCLA averages 83 points per game at home. UCLA should be rested and hungry for a big win here. With the public thinking, this is too many points they are jumping all over ASU but there’s a reason why this line is so high. Look for UCLA to come out strong defensively to shut down this weak ASU offense. ASU won’t be able to keep up with the Bruins on their home floor. Take UCLA to get the big win here.
