The #3 Purdue Boilermakers face the Michigan Wolverines after Jaden Ivey scored 26 points in Purdue’s 84-68 win against the Illinois Fighting Illini. The Wolverines are 7-2 in home games. The Boilermakers are 10-3 in Big Ten play. These teams play for the 2nd time this season in Big Ten play with the Boilermakers winning the first matchup 82-76 on Feb. 5. Ivey scored 23 points to help lead the Boilermakers to the win. Dickinson is averaging 18.1 points and 8.3 rebounds for the Wolverines and Ivey is shooting 48.4% and averaging 16.9 points for the Boilermakers.  Dickenson is good but facing 2 of the best big men in the Big 10 with Edey and Williams he will have a tough challenge in scoring and rebounding. The Wolverines are playing five games in 11 days because of multiple reschedule games that were postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. This game is their second of three in five days this week. Purdue is rolling right now and that should continue tonight against this mediocre Michigan team. The Wolverines do have a shot on their home floor if they play their best game of the season but if not, Purdue should get the easy win and cover here.
