10:00 p.m. ET: Gonzaga Bulldogs (5-0) at UCLA Bruins (5-0)
Spread: Gonzaga -5.5
Total: 156.5
The Bulldogs are 2nd in the nation in scoring with 93.2 points per game. The Bruins are averaging 90.8 points per game on 48.7% from the field. The Bulldogs are still getting used to playing together as a team whereas UCLA has almost the same team when they faced the Bulldogs in the Final 4 but after watching each team so far this season Gonzaga has not disappointed especially in the ability to score. UCLA will have the advantage in the guard play but will have a hard time stopping Drew Timme down low especially in the absence of Cody Riley. Unless UCLA is knocking down three’s and able to keep up with the Gonzaga offense, it is going to be a difficult game this early in the season. In March Madness last season, UCLA was the hottest team which kept them in the game but this early in the season will be questionable. The public is expecting UCLA to keep this game close but the line is starting to move quickly for the Zags. Look for Gonzaga to pull out the win and the cover in this game.
