TIGERS VS PIRATES MLB PREDICTION

In tonight’s series finale, Detroit hands the ball to young righty Matt Manning (3-6, 6.29 ERA), and Pittsburgh counters with veteran righty Mitch Keller (4-10, 6.23 ERA). Manning is coming off a rough outing after two straight no-decisions. The rookie gave up 8 runs and 8 hits in 3 2/3 innings in an 8-6 loss against Oakland last Thursday. Keller is coming off a solid performance but it was a no-decision Thursday against the Cubs in Chicago after pitching 6 shutout innings and striking out 8. Keller has recorded a pair of no-decisions and a 3.60 ERA in two career starts against the Tigers, including April 22 when he gave up two runs in five innings in Detroit. This line opened with the Pirates listed as a -110 home favorite and the Tigers a + 100 road dog.
