Oregon State has dominated team after team and with the Beavers getting 7 points in this game, the public is pounding Oregon State +7 including 44% of the Moneyline tickets are on the Beavers. Loyola Chicago may not be the most impressive offensive team but they are the best defensive team in the nation. If Loyola can shut down one of the top offenses in Illinois on short rest and preparation they should be able to step up here as well. Prediction: Villanova has been playing well without Gilespie and today they will also be playing in a familiar gym at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Baylor finally showed some signs of life in its last win over Wisconsin. In the Bear’s previous 3 games the offense didn’t quite look as good as it did before the team was on the covid break. Baylor is a three-point shooting team and Hinkle is a 3 point shooters dream gym. Villanova has not faced a defense like Baylor yet this season. Baylor will lock down the Wildcats and win this game by double-digits. Take Baylor to cover the spread and look for the Over to come in with it.

Prediction: Arkansas should be able to win this game but Oral Roberts is a team that can shoot the three so you can never count them out of the game. Oral Roberts had a tremendous first game but its second game wasn’t as impressive as the Florida Gators blew a lead to give up the game. This Arkansas team can score with the best of them and with both teams pushing the ball and jacking three’s it could be a high-scoring game. Oral Roberts will see a prepared Arkansas team that will defend them well for the first time in the tournament to cruise for an easy win. Take Arkansas to cover the spread in the one. If Oral Roberts can stay in the game the over will come in but if Arkansas shuts down the three, look for the Under.

Prediction: Syracuse is shooting lights out and playing its best basketball of the season. Houston barely beat Rutgers in a game they should have lost especially considering its best player Dejon Jarreau playing injured. His hip injury won’t be fully recovered for this game but he’s a tough kid that will play as much as he can. The Syracuse zone has been disrupting every team and should continue here but the key for Cuse is going to be the three-point shot. Houston can defend the three holding teams to only 28% this season from deep but with the Orange shooting lights out it will be a tough challenge. Jim Boeheim is back in the Madness and his experience alone is enough to bet on the Syracuse here. Take the Orange to cover this spread as Jarreau can’t possibly be healthy enough to take over this game. If Syracuse can shoot the ball well they should win this game Straight Up.
